Christmas Party

The Domu Christmas Party is the most anticipated social event of the year, and 2017’s spectacular celebrations certainly lived up to expectations. After weeks of preparations, outfit planning and all round excitement, when the day finally arrived there was a definite sense of festive merriment in the office.

An early 4pm finish was the first of many treats to come throughout the evening, and gave everyone the opportunity to dress up with a bit of Christmas sparkle before heading over to Revolution, Parsonage Gardens.

Greeted with a glass of bubbly on arrival to toast the season in style, it wasn’t long before the impressive Christmas spread was ready. Favourites like pigs in blankets and turkey and cranberry sliders were a welcome warming indulgence from the arctic conditions outside!

With the food polished off and bellies full, the DJ cranked up the party playlist with tunes that kept dancefloor full all night! When the team wasn’t dancing, you might find them at the ‘pimp your prosecco station’, or pouring their own G&T with botanical blends. With lots of liqueurs, fruits and garnishes to choose from, glasses everywhere were filled with clever cocktails. And there were plenty of options, with a selection of wine and a huge ice bucket of beer available too.

In true party spirit, the bravest of the bunch stepped up to play a game of vodka limbo. Although some efforts were more successful than others, everyone was rewarded with a flavoured vodka shot.

While all the employees were busy enjoying themselves inside, the Christmas feeling had spread outdoors, and as temperatures dropped it started to snow! With many realising they might have to ice skate home, it was time to call it a night on a spectacular evening of fun, laughter and celebrations.
